After a few Bev's downs stairs at the taphouse we tried the upstairs restaurant and we're very happy. The veggie burger may be the best I've had. We ate at The Open Kitchen several times, the food and service are great. Refreshing healthy meals during a hot day! Loved the smoothie bowls, refreshing drinks and coffee. Our waiter also took the time to introduce us to the CR alcohol “Cacique” which we were not familiar with. Nice seating and decor.
The best food I have eaten so far in Costa. Clean place with open clean kitchen. The host and the crew was gentle and Generous. Everything is fresh and delicious. Rich Menu with many different options ,vegan and not.
Very nice lunch with a friendly service. We enjoyed a local rice, bean and chicken meal and sandwich with chorizo. Everything was great (other than the bun but we got used to this in CR) but the sausage was amazing! The service were great too friendly and communicative. Very pleasant time for us and also for a reasonable money.
Loved this place, there salads where so good fresh and full of local ingredients. Their skin on fries are incredible, handmade and absolutely delicious. Also their spritz are so yummy we had the passion fruit one and that was so refreshing.

I had the chilli perfect sized portion of rice and chilli, too little of the fantastic guac that has that acidic zing to it you don't find outside of central America (from my experience... and the tortilla was there too. Again, added the house salsa to elevate it. Price was good, taste was good, setting is simple and for every one.
