"Hit and miss some dishes quite good, others appalling. Too much of the menu is limited to portions for 2 4 people only with no individual portions available. And, outrageously expensive, even if it were to be amazingly good, which it's not."

"This was the first place I had eaten in montevideo, so I was very happy to eat there. but when I found other places, I preferred them and found no reason to go back here. the buffet had no labels for what was vegan and not vegan, so I asked, but they told me only the early rolls were vegan, made from ten! then I looked at the refrigerator, the guy who works there, told me most of the things are vegetarian, but they also have vegan versions. I asked about the veggie burger in vegan form, and the kerl just went to the back of the load and got it for me. is it really so difficult to show vegan options instead of people need to be unpleasant and ask for them? They would certainly sell much better if they are on their own and we know they exist. the burger tasted good, grateful : but the vegan brownie I got from the theke was really dry. I also saw two tables, but they were meant to share with strangers what really put me away from eating there. there was no place to be dirty, which meant that I had to ask the staff to take it for me, and they were already so busy. overall the burger was good, but the brownie is not, and I was not very satisfied with the organization of the load"

"I love this place and the people who run the restaurant can't be nicer. the menu changes constantly, but I never had anything I don't love. when they order, they will make everything for them. if they order pasta, they will make fresh pasta for them. when sitting in the front dining room, it is like eating in the kitchen. if they stay close to the mercado, this is one of the few places that are open for dinner on Thursday until Sunday. they usually have a waiter who speaks English or fork in the kitchen can help them. they take credit cards visum safe."
