What User doesn't like about El Berretín:
Location is great, ambiance is very good. Service: not so good. We ordered a tabla with different small amount foods. A traditional thing here in Uruguay. The milanesas were burned and not balanced in the food (too much fried and cheese items) The waitress never come, we had to go to the front and request the menu chart and later on the desserts. the best pasta I had during the trip! the chocolate lava cake has berries in the inner and is by far the best version of dessert I ever know. the uniqueness of the restaurant comes from the cellar that was set during the renovation tupamaros, hidden in it during military rule. View all feedback.
