Folks this is a really iconic place. Don’t go here expecting some fancy restaurant with valet parking, tablecloths and waiters in white. But If you want some good fried seafood or ice cold oysters on the half shell and a laid back atmosphere with a view of the river then yes. What jay doesn't like about Capitol Oyster:
Just simply amazing. Enough said. Edit: went back today about a month later: I ordered the raw oysters that were tipped over which spilled all the good tasting liquid out. I also ordered the frog legs with coleslaw. The breading on the legs just fell off as soon as I picked them up leaving flavorless frog legs. The coleslaw was just pickled vegetables. Don't recommend.
