Conroe Lake House - Montgomery

It was decent on steak night. Learned that is closed for good because of a bitter divorce as has happened to the nearby Sam's Boat owner. It's probably for the best. Hope the next place is up to higher standards on food and service.

Visited this place on Saturday and IS CLOSED!!!! We drove more than an hour and the place us under remodeling and it's ok but let us know here at gogle maps is the tool that all of us use to rech your place, please!!!! Is the best thing that you can do for your clients.....

Everything seemed great at first. Small wait time to be seated, nice servers, drinks were served promptly. Sadly, this was the only pleasant experience for the time spent here because my family and I were never attended after that. We placed our order and waited longer than one hour and a half with absolutely no service, no refills, no food. After we brought this to the managers attention we were once again unattended with no refills or food. The frustration caused us all to get up and leave. By the way I ordered nachos…

We got seated at 6:09. We know this exact time because that 's when they called us to seat us. The waitress took our drinks and apps order. It took about 30+ minutes to get the apps. No offer for refills on our drinks. It was an hour later and they called us again to see if we were seated yet. Lolololol. The waitress said they only had 2 cooks but every one around us was getting served and were sat later than us. She came to our table twice and told us they were working on our food. Still didn 't refill our drinks. Then 7:37 rolled around. Still no food. We get the manager, some big bald dude and tell him we 've been waiting for an hour and a half and still no food. No apologies or anything. He just says ok let me check on it. So let me get this straight.. you 're down to two cooks . Food is getting to everyone else.. slowly but they 're getting it. No refills of drinks the entire 1.5 hours. The manager instead of helping get the food out, he 'd rather socializing. What a pos manager. All the food is already frozen. There 's no reason to wait for more than 1 hour for food. So we got up and left. Don 't go here. Invest your time elsewhere.

The food is pretty horrible these days. Like others have said it is very dirty around the restaurant.
