I ordered the chopped pork sandwich and the baked carrots at this restaurant. The pork was very tender and flavorful, and the portion size was generous (some places skimp on the meat). I enjoyed their BBQ sauce as well. I also tried their banana pudding, which was thick, creamy, and a good size. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I have been going to McKenzie's for years and I always get the baked potato with meat. Unfortunately I was so disappointed with my food this time. My potato was dried out like it was over cooked or old. Also the chopped beef was dried out I couldn't even eat my food. Money wasted. I definitely won't be returning. View all feedback.
Consistently good bbq smoked with real wood. no pellet smokers used here.
Have eaten here several times when we pass through with our RV. Has always been quick and tasty. This trip I tried something new a brisket stuffed grill cheese sandwich. Outstanding!

Love this place! Great BBQ great service. The folks here are A-1 in my book.
