Check which location you want . This comment is about the recently opened cafe/cucina on 4126 St Catherine, west of Greene. Bright welcoming cafe with links to original Gentile (pronounced "JEN-TILL-EH"), and a welcome addition to local options. What User doesn't like about Gentile Cafe:
The waiter was rushing us the whole time. The veal scalopini was hard as leather and over cookd it was crunchy and paper thin. The cavatelli was under cooked and ther were 6 pieces of rapini the size of my pinky nail. Definitely not worth it.Their class of wine is the smallest i have ever been served in any restaurant. The place also offers the possibility to sit outside and be served in pleasant weather, and there's a counter where you can sit down and taste. The seat / dining area invites you to linger and extensively indulge.
