A staple of Montreal for years and it's easy to see why. If you're in the area you should stop and have at least a hot dog (or 2) and an orange julep. The drink is delicious, the poutine is exactly what you expect it to be. No bells, no whistles.. Simply delicious and you'll leave satisfied. View all feedback.
What Y doesn't like about Gibeau Orange Julep:
Certainly not cheap for basic food truck meals, but the portions are generous. A large poutine could easily feed two people. The famous orange juice is on the sweeter side so the taste may be surprising for those trying it for the first time. Service was friendly and fast. View all feedback.
An iconic montreal institution and for good reason their orange juleps are amazing! Keep in mind that although the large is truly LARGE, you should just get one, because a small and medium are good but once you start drinking you won't want to stop. It is light, sweet, cirtusy and refreshing, especially on a hot summer day. There are also lots of food options (think casse croute), as well as breakfast options and even montreal bagels with cream cheese. The staff was extremely friendly and kind and there is lots of seating around the big orange as well as shaded seating and picnic tables. If visiting Montreal, it's a must go at least once to see the iconic orange julep.

OJ ?was the most disgusting oj that I’ve ever tried. The juice had something artificial in it so if you are from Europe don’t go here it’s not worth it. I also had hot dog which was OK nothing special.
This spot is popular because it's been around for years. However, the quality of the food has really gone down while the prices have gone up!The service seemed rushed, and they forgot part of the order. The pogos were bland and very basic. The pretzel was also bland with very little cheese filled in. The poutine was alright, and the hot dogs were so so.The actual orange drink was good, but they cost around $17, which is crazy.Probably wouldn't go back here for a while.
This is classic in Montreal definitely a place to visit. The drink they have is great and worth trying, dispute being fairly sweet. The poutine tasted good. The service is just ok, most likely due to them being quite busy.
