What User likes about Helm:
My boyfriend and I went here twice when we were in Montreal because the beer is that good. I recommend the Ginger B, it was my favorite. The first time we were here, we actually experienced a power outage, but it didn't ruin anything. Staff are super friendly and the food is good, making it one of our favorite bars in Montreal. What User doesn't like about Helm:
My brother and I would have finished the evening with a good biere before the night. We arrived in a well-filled bar and we chose a biere each, ipa for me, blonde for my brother. Very good beers.Only unpleasant hic, the bartender seemed very annoyed that people had fun (speak loudly) while he and some other customers were trying to listen to the trump and hilary debates. enough to ask us three times to lower the tone... Awesome little brewery with great beers and friendly staff. Some really unique stuff on tap, all well executed. Recommend the ginger wheat beer and the hibiscus...
