In retrospect the red flag should have been the fellow taking a bag of precut smoked meat out of a water bath... who knows how long and at what temperature it wasincubating there. This was the only thing i ate on the trip that I had alone, i.e. not others having the same food. I get a bad stomach problem within hours of getting back home.
