What Diana L doesn't like about Makoto:
The food at this restaurant is mediocre. I have had better Korean food in Montreal. I tried their pork sauté and while the presentation and color were appealing, the taste was lacking. The chicken katsu was surprisingly better. The food is served on a long wooden platter, but the portions are small. View all feedback. What User likes about Makoto:
The food is really good and you need to try a bento ! The place is very quiet and you don't wait to be served. The staffs are really nice. Perfect place for a really good and mostly cheap meal. View all feedback.

read moreThis Montreal Korean restaurant offers a mixed experience with some finding the food average at best while others rave about the quality and flavor. The cozy spot serves up dishes on wooden platters, with some praising the chicken katsu, but others finding portions small. Customer service varies, with some highlighting friendly staff and efficient service, while others note language barriers. Those who enjoyed their visit appreciated the ambiance, with colorful décor and cozy seating. Overall, while some reviewers were less impressed, others highly recommend this spot for a tasty and affordable Korean meal in Montreal.
