This was a second visit to this resto after a year, and it has improved. I was fortunate to go with a recently arrived student from mainland central China. He noted that the chef came from his region. We had won-ton soup, fried egg pancake and dumplings. Everything was delicious. You can even see the dumplings being made by hand in an open kitchen. The prices were reasonable. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mei Yuan:
The food is OK! A bit expansive but it was a nice atmosphere to eat there! We may go back to give it another chance at night since we went in the morning the last time! View all feedback.

Friendly service and delicious vegetarian dumplings! The inside is beautiful and conveniently located beside the concordia library building!
We were thinking of grabbing ramen but on the walk over, I spotted Mei Restaurant and the menu taped on the front door sounded promising so we stepped
The dumplings here are some of the best I've ever had. The prices are very reasonable and the food is excellent overall.
The steamed dumplings at this restaurant are amazing - the best in town! Just be cautious not to burn yourself, they come out piping hot haha.
