What julian likes about Restaurant Boca Iberica:
Simply the best octopus I've ever had. I didn't even know that such flavorful, incredibly tender yet perfectly charred octopus could exist. Didn't even need sauce (which was delicious anyway), it's perfect. The seafood rice is chock-full of perfectly cooked EVERYTHING. Delicious pasteis de nata imported straight from Portugal? Check. The service is friendly and impeccable. Do yourself a favor, drive down St-Laurent,... View all feedback.

read moreA recent visit to Boca Iberica left us with mixed feelings. While some diners were thrilled with the small plates, fresh seafood, and efficient service, others were severely disappointed with the quality and timing of their main dishes. The wine selection was praised, but complaints about dry, tough codfish and underwhelming sweetbreads were noted. Service varied from exceptional, with waiters selecting delicious tapas and providing great attention, to rushed and unaccommodating, with the kitchen closing earlier than expected. Overall, the restaurant seems to have its ups and downs, with some patrons vowing to return for the affordable prices and tasty dishes, while others may opt for alternative Portuguese restaurants in Montreal.
