"If you thought vegan food was all dust and husks, try this place. Really satisfying and flavourful dishes available we had the daal and the three bean chilli. Importantly, the cakes were absolutely delicious and the tea made with leaves (not bags). And, best of all, we were served the very cheery and helpful owner. Oh, and the toilet was clean! A great placed to get fuelled up for a walk along the cliffs."

"Visited for a coffee and cake with a friend. The coffee was lovely as always, as were the cakes. Drinks took slightly longer than usual but this was understandable at it was a busy time. One of the waiters also came over to say the drinks were on their way but there was a build up, which was good of him to keep us updated. Service was very friendly too. Have been here for lunch before, which is also always fantastic."

"We walked from Montrose to Usan Lighthouse and looked into this place with curiosity as a potential venue for lunch. On our way back from Usan, we met a dog walker who told us that Lunch in Diamond Lil's was a must do. So we visited it with caution. We were extremely impressed by the very friendly welcome from our server. Our orders were taken promptly and we were certainly not disappointed by the fare on offer. It was cooked to perfection. Soup served with a hot roll and butter just melted in the mouth. The respective main courses of Steak Pie and haddock were beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Sadly we did not have the appetite for the attractive sweets on offer. What a wonderful find and we cannot wait to return to Diamond Lil's"

"Amazing service fab for gluten free options. I’m coeliac and can always trust the panmure with my food. Great selection of choices too! We couldn’t believe how quick the service was and the staff were very attentive too. Our go to for sitting in and taking away."
