Stopped for coffee, returned the next day for breakfast on our way home. I normally drink Tobys estate coffee which is my favourite, however I really enjoyed this coffee. Food was served promptly considering we were very early and they were still setting up. Sat outside so we could breath in the lovely mountain air. Service was very warm and welcoming . There are several good eateries in Montville .....as we had not tried Mountain Bean, thought it worth a try: small, clean and pleasant looking. However service was disappointing: young lady tried to help us with menu options but the more senior waitress was sharp and somewhat brusque: you do not expect a service provider to say sharply "can only do one thing at a time!" especially when you are a polite paying custome... After the guy looked at the way and wisely, how he spoke with the lovely old lady two people before me, and then his short decompression to the guy before me, I just turned around and went out. disgusting service I would not expect. in a small facility in a beautiful small town. I wouldn't eat here if the last place was open in the city.
In the morning after a walk in the mary cairncross park here immersed in the breakfast. we had the most delicious breakfast. the sweet potato pile with smoked salmon was amazing and very early opened. will certainly visit again.
I had breakfast here. the staff and the service were brilliant. the broke was a good value for money, a baptism on the teller. we've made the best choice here.
We have chosen this place after a morning of walking by chance. the food, coffee and cake were all delicious and the servier staff was prompt and very friendly. I would be coming back next time in montville.
Great little cafe, manager very obliging, made sure we weren’t sitting in full sun as it was so hot, moved us to another table which was cooler, great coffee and hot chocolate drinks.
