This is a very fine restaurant in this neighbourhood: they have a large choice, staff is friendly, and it is one of the few restaurants we encountered that caters for small children. View all feedback.
What Dora7 doesn't like about Cygnus:
The pizza was full of oil making it soft and uneatable. The spaghetti al vongole was tastesless and very dry and at €14 was well overpriced for quality and quantity ! the mushroom pasta was the best but there were very very few. ! The service was slow and gave up waiting for the sweet menu and to be asked for coffee. The service charge is written on the menu at 1.70 per person but they charge you 2. I dont care about... Normally we don’t leave reviews, but we had to for Cygnus Restaurante. The pizzas were the best we had on our trip in Italy. The staff was very friendly and spoke English well. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the prices are also good. Make sure to make a reservation on the weekend.
Very well organized restaurant, well trained staff, great fresh tortellini, Nice tasty bruschetta's, good thin pizza's. Nothing more to wish for in an italian restaurant. We came here a few times and never any moment of disappointment!
Stumbled across this while staying nearby- right next to the river, full of families and a lovely atmosphere. Good menu with very reasonable prices, pizzas start at about €6,50 and they’re huge! Would visit again, my son loved the carbonara pizza. Good value traditional Italian!
Stayed in Altomincio park up the road and found this place on a spin one evening. We ate here 3 nights of our 2 week stay as the food was so good. Suitable for both adults and kids. 1/2 Liter of house wine was only €5, Lovely homemade desserts. Mostly locals eating here and you can see why.
