"What a good sound! we enjoyed a wonderful meal at a cheap price, freshly cooked and friendly scientific service. the building was beautifully restored loved the flowing! in the east they reach both the railway station and the central middlesbrough. highly recommended!"

"Stopped in here while away on business. I was expecting a nice, quiet local Italian restaurant; what I found was a bustling, quality restaurant. It was packed when I arrived, without a reservation, but they managed to fit me in. Staff clearly very busy but working hard, and being friendly and professional. The steak I ordered was a generous size and cooked perfectly. Sauce was excellent, all other accompaniments good. From what I could see of other diners’ food it all looked spot on. Good expansive menu as well, could go here regularly and not get bored. Drinks good too, everything fairly priced. Fantastic value for money. Will definitely be back here in future."

"Second time visiting Minfika for afternoon tea and it was definitely worth the return. The food is great and it's a lovely quaint little cafe. My only suggestion would be to be able to request to swap out a sandwich filling, neither of us like pickle so it's a bit of a waste. Saying that I would still return either way x"

"Cacau has really stepped up their game on vegan food! There's so much choice now from delicious artisanal drinks and fresh exotic juices, to cakes, ice cream, paninis and main meals! Their biscoff cake is amazing! And I also love the beans soup, and their vegan version of the traditional feijoada. Staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is so relaxing, a pure Brazilian gem in the North East. I'd give it a 5* but the app won't let me as the cafe is not 100% vegan. : Updated from previous review on 2019-01-08"
