Seated immediately, specials board menu's were exactly what I expected from a warm welcoming restaurant in the highlands. Venison was off the chart, best l've ever tasted. My husband had the beef, melt in the mouth' just Grand. The Cranachan was devine....We shall definately be returning recommending this cracking restaurant. Although welcomed in without a booking on a Saturday lunchtime, the options for a vegan were non existent. Bland tomato and roasted pepper soup (initially with a drizzle of cream), and the bread roll removed as it wasn't vegan friendly. for this alone, and...no offer of any discount.
