"It is my first time to east and stumbled on this place during the journey along the coast! the fish and chips were absolutely delicious. crispy and super aromatic, the tartaric acid was fantastic and the pommes were amazing. the lady who served us was so sweet and would recommend this place definitiw as a box stop for a quick lunch!"

"If I could give this zero stars I would. Breakfast was very bland, sausage tasted like it was reheated from prepackaged, eggs were dry, pancake seemed like just a pancake mix, and the “pan fried” potatoes were probably just microwaved. Restaurant was far from clean, the sticky floors and horror show fridge/storage room when we walked in should’ve been the sign for us to turn around and leave. Coffee was underwhelming but the toast was decent."

"My husband and I plus another couple drove 25 minutes to Clamdiggers and it wasn’t open. Very disappointed. There was no communication of any kind to say it was not open. Not sure what happened."

"My wife and I arrived just before closing, but they were able to get us food to go and we ate on the deck. I had the scallop burger and she had the chowder. Both were delicious and we were very satisfied. It's a small spot, but seems popular for obvious reasons."

"It is rare to be able to experience terrific food and then just stick around and enjoy amazing music. Last night was such a night for us when my wife and I went for dinner and a show with the amazing and mesmerizing Tara Maclean....First, we had the seafood chowder. A large bowl of totally awesome goodness that would win first prize every time. Perfectly done, and very satisfying fresh-caught halibut and roasted veg followed. We shared a good crumble for desert. Of note, the chowder at $9 and halibut at $24 are the best value so far on the Island. The kitchen and wait staff must be commended and showered with high praise in a situation where over 100 people come in all at once at 6:30 and they are slammed with all these drink and food orders and where everyone is fed and done by 8-ish for the music. I don’t know how they do it but they sure did it. Hi 5s all around! Stacey, our server, was fun and just a pleasure to deal with. Shortly after 8, Tara came on after a 3-song opening act (who is a neighbour of Tara’s in BC). Tara was accompanied by her ex husband on guitar. They were plagued by technical issues in the first set but plowed thru without being frazzled. The second set was bang on, though, and she (and he) left us mesmerized and profoundly impressed with stunning music. She is such a sweetheart to boot. So Trailside has great concept going and they do it expertly. This place is a real treasure with a rare vibe to it. You would be missing out by not going."

"The service was amazing, the food was delicious and there was tons of it. We had the full lobster dinner (5 course). You get chowder, a plate of mussels, a huge lobster and a dessert for $39. The view of the lake is lovely though we didn't get a window seat, it didn't reduce the wxperience at all. I loved it and I'm going back next trip. Also, it's reasonably accessible (walker) but a wheelchair might have to be lifted and the washroom has a step."

"We own a cottage on PEI. Peaks Tee is located on Rte 22 near Mt Stewart. We stopped there several years ago. It has become our go-to place for a great meal at a great price. All the food is more than ample and homemade including delicious desserts. The prices are great and the service is exceptional. A family atmosphere with often a family or small local gathering at a long table. It overlooks a 9-hole rustic golf course. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly."
