Motorcycle rides take us to Morenci a few times a year. I was looking for a new place to eat and read about the Copper Canyon.. the fact that they are open from 5am to 10pm 7 days a week was very good.. staying at the Morenci motel, it was a short walk across the street. "Price was good for food, but the restaurant is really old and worn. The table and benches had deep, deep holes in them and everything looked like it came out of trash dumpsters. The menus are typed papers that have been copied so many times they are too fuzzy to read. We ordered three different items and was told either they no longer carry the items or are out of it. Even side items. All side items were out of stock except fries, which tasted like cooked mush. I do not know where the photos on Yelp were taken but they weren't from this diner. Server took forever to assist us. Both greeted regulars by name and got them beverages and food prior to coming to our table, even though we were there at least ten minutes prior to the others, and after I went to the register to get my own menus. Two stars instead of one because the cheese crisp was a good size and tasty."
