What Willow Considine doesn't like about Benny Velino's:
Not a bad slice, not a great slice. I went for the pepperoni and cheese. The cheese is slightly salty but stretchy. They get points for it being a monster size slice with minimal flop. The pepperoni is pretty standard Hormel then slice style and the sauce is just above average, missing the kick of Italian spices. View all feedback.
Was very good and the prices of pizza were huge! And so cheap! The best place for a hungry college student!
This pizza is large, ingenious and large. $5 for a slice is not only worth it, but this kind of economic genius could easily solve world hunger on a larger scale. Just say. No pressure or something, Bennys.
I stopped in at about 6:30pm on a week night and I think it was just the wrong time. I'm going to assume when they're busier and the pizza is cranking out hot and fresh it's much better. With that said, the slices are huge, I had no business ordering two. And pizza can only be but so bad, and this still had a very good taste, I just think it could be better when fresher.
We love this place! Huge discs. You better be ready to take the box home. No kidding. Amazing!
