"Came to Woodlands for a Christmas work lunch (party of 18). I currently have some somewhat frustrating dietary requirements but they were very accommodating in providing me with food that was safe for me to eat. Bonus was that everything was really tasty rather than it feeling like something was thrown together as an afterthought, which I have experienced in other places. The cafe was very busy with both routine patrons and other large groups like mine and I think the staff handled things quite well. I'm not sure if any of them got time to catch their breath because there was plenty going on, so I commend them for that. As far as the setting goes, Woodlands is as lovely as ever. The place always feels like a relief from town and traffic and supermarkets and malls. You can just go there and be, even when it is busy. Given the number of people there, it wasn't especially loud which is a benefit of al fresco dining, I suppose. The gardens are lovely and the grounds are perfectly kept. Definitely recommend."

"Pies were award winning quality well cooked,crusty and very tasty. Doughnuts were equally delicious. Wide selection of food and plenty of room to sit and eat it. Staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended if passing through Morrinsville."

"This is always a special place for my family for celebrations and even just for a nice meal out ,service is always fantastic ,food really good ,I cannot say enough how much I love it here. Highly recommend . One little minor thing please get the fireplace going ,it is the second time in winter I’ve been and it’s not going ,it was a little cold and it really adds to the ambience ."
