"Great place, lovely service friendly owner. Food was overall very tasty and a great place to have lunch. some interesting wine choices also. I would have gave it 5 stars but the pardon peppers were a little too black and too salty and the wine was a little overpriced. Snails were a highlight!"

"We are here last night and we were really impressed. Both the service and food were fantastic and amongst the best we’ve come across. Food: We were brought over delicious fresh bread and cheese. We also had the chorizo starter dish to share which we really enjoyed. We asked the gentleman who served us (sorry, I never asked your name! , what he would recommend. It was really helpful to be shown photos and in the end we decided to have the Talhada de Vitela. The Talhada was cooked perfectly for us medium rare. It was seasoned perfectly with olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. This was a generous size portion and we shared this between 2. We ordered our Talhada with delicious grilled vegetables and French fries. We finished our meal with two coffees (added with chocolate and cinnamon which was a nice touch . I was driving so I drank soft drinks, but my fiancée said that the red wine was very nice. Service: We were really impressed with the service at the restaurant and felt like VIPs. The gentleman who served us was extremely friendly and helpful. Not only did he help us order our meal by giving recommendations and showing us photos, but he also chatted to us about Anadia and wider Portugal. He also recommended us a taxi driver. In summary, this is a fantastic restaurant that we highly recommend. The prices were very reasonable and good value. I was very impressed and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Thank you very much once again!"
