Stumbled on as we were on a summer drive and were heading to the Little Red Market Cafe only to find out closed, so we saw this Eatery and would give a try. So glad we did so friendly and funny. We had some good laughs as the couple that run were so nice and entertaining. The Fish and Chips were excellent. great hospitality, went one and again eating was always freshly prepared and made by scratches. recommend the Welsh fish and homemade burgers.

"The Little Red Market Cafe in Mortlach is the very definition of a diamond in the rough. This restaurant has only six tables and serves as the town's liquor store. This simple menu was exceptionally designed that left ample choices. We were treated to their specials of the evening either citrus marinated duck or blackened sirloin. The service was top notch, our meals were perfect and the quaint cozy atmosphere was so inviting. Will definitely be planning another road trip to pass by Mortlach right in time for supper again."

"The food is normal Subway style food and good quality, but the staff tend to be slow at helping. Sometimes I found that staff took a while to come to the counter to take my order and when asking what I want on my sandwich...they were blunt and assuming I should not have any questions. The washrooms in the same building were disgusting and I do not think had been cared for that day."
