"Couldn't fault a thing of the four of us all were very happy with our wednesday lunch. Scallops (entree), lamb and my blue steak all perfectly cooked. Kitchen accommodating with low salt request. Waitress knowledgable helpful. We didn't take the set price menu but it is certainly worth considering for a good value option. Good selection of reasonably priced wines. We have been a few times before and will return to this lovely restaurant overlooking the river."

"Stopped here for cheese tasting on way to Narooma on a south coast trip and loved everything about it. Cheeses were delicious (but I am a devotee) and orange syrup cake beautiful. Coffee machine was on the blink but pot of real English Breakfast tea was to die for. You don't get real tea much these days. We will come back to try lunch. Decor is very 50s and cosy with a huge fireplace."

"As locals we regularly buy fish and chips from Smoky Dan's and have been very happy. Sadly the portion sizes of both the fish and chips is diminishing every time we order. Tonight's final purchase was the worst of all! The length of the fish was approximately two and a half slices of lemon! The thickness was extremely thin as well. Sorry guys but for $19 this is outrageous. Given that you swapped out three flat head tails for two cheap NZ Hoki fillets and INCREASED the price you should be ashamed. "Great food and lovely service! I visited the restaurant and had a wonderful time and great food. Little low on vegetarian options but that's to be expected at a restaurant on the coast. Five stars!"

"I only call in for coffee and fruit toast once a week between the classes I attend. Very generous serving and the food for the diners around me look great. will have to treat myself to lunch one day. very relaxing atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating."

"Amazing coffee, amazing tea great place to stop for a beverage. Very biker friendly would recommend a visit easy parking off road at the carpark across the road. The service was amazing and as said the coffee and tea is to die for. Will definitely be going back there."
