Went to the Cafe on the right as you enter the door. Ordered a caramel iced coffee, was not bad. Ordered a ham and cheese croissant, the croissant was fresh but the cheese was like American fake cheese so was disappointing. "Our first go at this fine eatery located in a fabulous building in our pretty city. The girls get along with the cocktails list moving upwards one cocktail at a time. Lots of laughters and gossips have a hint that the cocktails were yumm and they were doing their job. Somehow we felt that the tall, bare brick wall needed a painting. Perhaps the upbeat ,usic also felt slightly out of place. The food was fantastic. As you come to expect from these fine dining places, each meal has several components, complimenting each other with flavours and textures. Charred pumpkin, battered cauliflower, duck breast, fillet steak and the sweet course of sorbet were all high quality. Our friends felt that sous vide meat loses its texture comapred to cooking steak on a pan, hence they weren't a huge fan. The vegetarian guest felt her jackfruit lacked some flavours. Overall, a fantastic first experience and we all agreed we will be back for more."
