What User likes about Gar Lok:
Please don't dine in. The dining rooms are smelly, dark and unattractive. Use Gar Lok as your take-away Chinese. Then it can shine :-)Everything is cooked to order and it is fresh and tasty. There are some stand out dishes. Recommended are the Honey King Prawns with Sesame Seeds. Order even if it's not on the menu - they will still make it for you. This restaurant was one of the best Chinese restaurants in Perth for over 25 years. The food was legendary as was the friendliness of the owner and staff. Since the change of ownership the difference is stark. Have tried it on two occasions since the change and never again.I do hope there is a change of chef.
