"Great food. neat menu with fresh ingredients and simply well prepared. the steak was perfectly boiled and delicate, the sauce rich. the lamb had a large bed of beans with a tasteful sauce, well worked. also the burratta and the prawn tacos were great. not complaining in the menu. Maybe just a bit warmer in the inner and one or two decent scotches on the beverage menu. wein selection was big enough. everything in all there is something for everyone and made good for a very reasonable price."

"Run by a lovely family who treats everyone like family, Afous is a special place where I'd recommend you let the house plan your menu. That way you'll sample the best they have to offer. We had the lovely starters and tapas with the prawns, mushrooms and Halloumi taking top marks. Calamari was a bit bland but beautifully crisp on the outside and tender as you bit into it. For mains we stuck to fish and lamb tajine (pictured) though our party of 6 was split 3:3 as to the winner (they were both amazing). Everything is halal which is a bonus. We went on a hot and humid evening and it would have been good if the air-conditioning was on. That aside, it was a fabulous evening."
