amazing eating, amazing prices, amazing quantities! can't say good enough about the place! best nativity in the city!

everything I can say is wow. where can they get a 1kg icybone and 1kg rib for r300. from the oath the place could look a little dodgy. but I promise you it's am...

Their combo's are worth the money and it tastes good. Don't be put off by the entrance. Well worth your while.

"This is about my 7th visit to Transkaroo and I have never been dissapointed! The food prepared by chef Julian is truly an exquisite and unique experience. This time around I had their prawn plate, 6 giant Argentina prawns with a green curry sauce served on Basmati rice. It was out of this world! The service is always of high standard especially yesterday when we were served by waiter Franco who was well informed on all dishes and wines. Thank you for a lovely welcoming experience!"

"We attended a wedding here and the food was good but more so the host was so incredibly welcoming. The drinks are well priced and the easy walk down to the beach is beautiful. Also, go without shoes or shoes which are easily removed."

"Tot class service, Springbok Carpaccio was great, pasta was AMAZING! Pizza’s a bit pricy and the tomato base had a weird taste. The lady-manager is also very nice to chat to, she does check in by every table to ensure everyone is happy. Lovely restaurant overall!"

"We were on the beach and wanted to enjoy a craft beer before heading back to our campsite. After trying to order and catching the attention of our waiter, twice, we received no service and decided to rather leave.. The atmosphere seemed inviting and we really wanted to spend some time here. But the service was horrible."

"Wow, what a gem of a place in an area where vegan appears to be completely misunderstood. I was greeted by extremely friendly staff, who thrived in my excitement for vegan offerings. There are so many choices too most areas of the menu have a vegan option. I had the cauliflower burger and oh my... this was amazing! It was a huge portion size, full of flavour and quite unique compared to most traditional veg burgers. Food arrived in a reasonable time. I ordered a vegan hot chocolate to take away and it was quite possibly the best hot chocolate I've ever tasted. I highly recommend going here!"
