On a busy Saturday night a friend and I were immediately given a table outside and offered menus and drinks. We had a gallette and lasagne, a few beers, and panna cotta and mousse au chocolat. The service was friendly and jovial, the food good...and for less than €60, good value. Mouans Sartoux is a genuine French village catering mainly for locals, and a lot more pleasant than nearby Valbonne. View all feedback.

What Torfinn Solvang doesn't like about L'oustaou de Mouans:
we have just eaten in this restaurant and although the staff was very friendly, the good was not so good. the galettes are good, but we asked for an salate and it was totally spoiled. the tomato smelled even as edgy and the salate was full of spoiled leaves. we couldn't eat it. we asked for olive oil and put it in a plastic bottle that said: vinegar. it was dirty and the oil smells like vinegar. a shame.
