What Charles Andrews doesn't like about The New Woodshed:
The New Woodshed came very highly recommended to us and I was excited to be able to get a table for 5 in the pub on a Wed evening. Service was acceptable but the food was underwhelming at best. Baked potatoes were cold, steak tips were too rare and the prime rib was just ordinary, nothing special. We have been at the original Woodshed many times and to the New Woodshed about a half dozen times. This time (Friday Sept 15) was for a birthday celebration. Fabulous. Great dinner, comfortable table, we could hear each other at a table for 4, the flatiron steak and haddock were both outstanding, and the special salad (from Moultons with an awesome dressing) was a home run. Our server was EXCELLENT and we had a great time. Thanks so much.
