"Thought we would go for lunch in the Hills and found the Macclesfield Hotel, we walked in and were greeted straight away by a larger than life character Justin (Yorky) and his wife Jen, we felt like part of the local population, very welcome and after a couple of drinks at the bar met a few locals. We sat in the outside area, still under cover, and our meals were served, I had bangers and mash, the name does not do the meal justice. The snags were gourmet and huge, beautiful mashed potato and a salad. My friends had a Chicken Schnitzel and a Steak, both huge and cooked perfectly, we washed that down with a bottle of local Sav Blonc the perfect finish. A very pleasant afternoon, we will all go back!"
