nice food nice people. Food here are much better than hermitage, Atmosphere also better. Love the beef rib and beef burger
The view from the dining room is spectacular. I had grilled salmon, cooked perfectly. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

"Not a great experience and don’t recommend at all. We didn’t get food (thankfully looking at recent reviews) but two coffees for $12 which were undrinkable. There is also a Nuremberg code printed off, no alternative milk and a “welcome all regardless of vaccine status” sign so take that as a few indicators of the type of ownership. Sad to see a historical cafe get to this state. The best thing is the view but you can get that outside!! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Quaint little Cafe with a very homey vibe and amazing view. It's a simple menu but hits the spot for hungry hikers. We ordered the burger which was quite standard but came with yummy fries. Great service despite being short on staff we were expecting to wait a long time but food arrived in about 10 min. Would love to visit again the next time I'm at Mt cook!"

"Amazing experience. Had buffet dinner and breakfast. My daughter and I are both vegan. Was a little uncertain as not many dishes with vegan so asked waitress. She got the cook and he showed what was vegan and made us extra dishes. It was so delicious. Four desserts were vegan, but only one labeled. The breakfast buffet was excellent, but had to ask a council what was vegan, as not all were marked. My advice would be to ask for help and you will get amazing food!!!!"
