This is a great place to stay. The staff are great and our room was bright, airy and very comfortable. The view over Mount Gambier is gorgeous and you can actually walk from the motel to see the Lakes if you're moderately fit. It's close to the lakes and only a short drive to the centre of town. What User doesn't like about The Lakes Resort Motel:
The hotel is certainly not up there in my opinion so I will be having words with corporate traveller. It is 3am and it is the third time I've been woken by a banging in the walls. Not impressed. My room is a standard room and is more suited to a miner than Corp traveller! Needs updating, it is a 1980s tragedy. read more.
