"I would love to give this place 10 Stars if I could! Gareth and Eriko have started something very special in Woodend. From friendly, smiling front of house staff to bang on, おいしい Japanese cuisine which is the best I have had outside of Tokyo, this place ticks all the boxes! I only hope that us 'locals ' can get a table when the cool and trendy Melbournites find out how amazing this place. All the best with your exciting journey!"

"Well stuck at a lovely accom in Lancefield with no food and no car! Was planning on eating at the accoms restaurant but was CLOSED. So i called Lancefield Takeaway...Rob the owner offered to deliver steak sandwiches etc to me but I had no cas on me to pay. So Rob offered to come pick me up so i could get cash out and pickup my food and drop me back to my accom! Just finished a delish steak sandwich and chunky fresh cooked chips...Thanks Rob! Country hospitality at its best!"

"Super sad to review negatively but really didn't have a great meal ordered beef korma, butter chicken and they were really over sweet in taste (actually couldn't eat the korma). Also, the korma only had 6 small beef pieces and was swimming in sauce. The butter chicken was more generous, but still not the standard in other places we have bought from. I think its important to share this so it doesn't continue. The rice and samosa were fine.The staff seem lovely, the website was easy, the prices were ok, so if this could be adjusted then i am sure it would be a great place to eat."
