"Finally got out to Nick's German Kitchen and oh man, it was just as amazing as I hoped it would be!! We tried the weekend special appetizers of barvarian bratwurst with bacon fried potatoes and creamy sauerkraut; and the pilzknodel which is a bread dumpling in a creamy mushroom sauce. Hubs had weekend special entree of schweinebraten which is pork roast, a bread dumpling, beer gravy and apple red cabbage. I ordered off the regular menu and got Jagerschnitzel which is a breaded pork cutlet with homemade spaetzle and creamy mushroom sauce. I?ve had Oma?s cooking and been to Germany the spaetzle is honestly some of the best I?ve ever had! It?s definitely pricey but it?s absolutely worth it. We sat outside and they provided warm comfy blankets which was so nice. We were too full to eat strudel so we got a slice of Black Forest cake to go it looks just as amazing as everything else tasted!"

"We stopped by here to get pizza on our way to Isle of Palms for vacation. We eat a lot of pizza and saw this one had good reviews and it did not disappoint. Was definitely worth the stop. Was very good Detroit style pizza. Would even give it 4.5 stars but yelp did not give me the option."

"The service was impeccable — waitress was super friendly and attentive and the food came out so quickly. And the food is always delicious! Highly recommend the calamari, Caesar salad, and the chicken parm! One of my favorite places to get dinner inthe Charleston area."

"The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't spectacular either. It for sure wasn't worth 100$ we spent for two people to eat lunch.I knew the prices beforehand and am ok spending 100$ for lunch. BUT, if I'm going to spend the money, I expect an experience to go with the meal.The building interior was clean, but not pleasant. The ceiling in particular needs help. The bench seat we had was really good, but did not physically match the height of the rather drab tables.(The table was too low for the bench)The menus are pretty cool andI did like the napkins, silverware and dishware that are meals were presented on. However, there was no style of how the food was presented. Just put on the dishes without any flourish. Which would have been fine if the food tasted better or was in some other way special.I am a bit concerned about how some of the condiments are dropper bottles, and how they are able to properly keep these tiny bottles clean?The waiter was ok but not great. We did have to wait so long for our check after the meal that I left and waited in the car."

"Freshly made chicken salad is especially at Chicken Salad Chick. They are the "Forest Gump of Chicken Salad". I ordered Cranberry Kelly with almonds. I also had Fruity Fran with apples. I like it on the blade. The little cookies and watermelon teas are a treat. People you have to go there. It's delicious. I love it."

"I looked at this place on the basis of a recommendation and was turned around by the menu. The food looked good. I wanted to make a reservation, and it was still a place at 5:15, so I sneaked it. On arrival people were lined at the door and waited for it. The hostess has set me for the exact reservation time. Hailey was my waitress. She made suggestions and let me know what the restaurants were popular dishes. Jake, I think he was the manager, came several times to make sure I enjoy my experience. Both were absolutely professional and helped me enjoy everything. Now for the best part. If I can summarize it quickly... it was a damn good food. Absolutely amazing. Cudos to the cook! You have to experience it yourself. The Grit sampler contains sweet and hearty. The salmon bowl just melts in the mouth. The roasted chicken with hot honey was crawling. I can't wait to come back to Charleston. I'm sure you'll see me again."
