Mt Pleasant Grille - Mount Pleasant

The food was good, but everything was cold. We waited for our ducks for 45 minutes. Three tables were put after us and they got their food before we did.

We made a reservation for the special Valentine's Day dinner at 19:00, but didn't end up being served until 20:15. When the food finally arrived, my husband's dish was hot but mine was lukewarm. I informed our waitress, who offered to take my plate back to the kitchen to warm it up, but I chose to keep it since I had already waited over an hour for my meal. Additionally, when we tried to order dessert from the Valentine's Day menu, we were informed that those options were unavailable. It seems like the dessert menus were not updated accordingly. Our waitress provided us with a senior discount on our bill due to the long wait. Overall, it seems like the restaurant wasn't properly prepared for the special dinner event.

On Valentine's Day, I was hoping for a little something special at this restaurant. Unfortunately, we were seated by the window and had to keep our coats on throughout the meal due to the chill. The wait for our food was over thirty minutes, but when it finally arrived, we were served salmon and baked potatoes.

We were in the past with Mt Pleasant Grille with good experience. This restaurant is downhill last year. Our first choice at the starter was not available. My first choice for design beer was not available. Our first choice on entree was not available. We finally decided to have the Sirloin. We had to send it back. It was done well on a med rare order. The server was over regularly and never checked us. We finally started to stop any server or manager that went by. We're not going back...

I have visited this restaurant multiple times. Most recently, I took my wife here for Valentine's Day. The food was outstanding, as always. Although the service was a bit slower than usual, it was understandable given how busy they were. There was a live musician performing at just the right volume – not too loud that it disrupted conversation, but not too quiet that you couldn't enjoy the music. Overall, this restaurant is a fantastic choice for a meal. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable.
