What Mireya Hagenes doesn't like about Chungkiwa:
Although I have seen other large groups dining there without being asked for their vaccination papers, the quality of the food was just okay and the meat was disappointingly fatty compared to previous visits. I reached out to the owner via email about our experience, but never received a response. I later mentioned this in my review of the restaurant. View all feedback.

Fantastic service and amazing food! If I'm ever back in Chicago, I'm coming back! I do recommend a reservation, since they are really busy, but they seated us within 30 minutes, and the food was SO GOOD! To top it off, complimentary ice cream! The entire staff was so kind and attentive. Highly recommend visiting!
The best Korean BBQ we've had in the area. The food was amazing, the prices were more than fair, and everyone was so nice. This is definitely my new spot.

We love this place! The staff are always kind, helpful and super polite. The restaurant is inviting and has a peaceful feel. The food is so delicious each time we go, they are consistently our favorite restaurant for several years now. Plus they do a good job keeping the place clean. Highly recommend for people who want to try something special and unique. Maybe not the place for people with special diets or lots of food allergies as some people cook at the tables but for most of us it’s fabulous.
