I love the artwork and the hand painted lillies on the back of the booth backs. I never have to worry about what to order because everything tastes incredible. I think I've even enjoyed a light beer here in days gone by. Thank you casa Ramos for keeping a shop in our small town, I know how challenging it can be to satisfy everyone Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
What Grace W doesn't like about Casa Ramos Mexican:
Super expensive (for burritos/mexican food), not very good portion size, and on top of that, I didn’t feel very good afterwards. Would not come again Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 View all feedback.
Cute, well run Restraurant. Eating is a few dollars too much, but portions are big. Great swamp! At least for the Margs
Best service and quality food prepared with care. After 6 weeks of driving around California it was nice to have this as my final stop. Soups, meals and deserts were all excellent and rates on the top of dozens of Mexican dinning experiences over the past month and a half.
I have dined at Casa Ramos many times and have never been disappointed. The portions are good sized, service is usually fun and friendly and the food is great. It's hard to find a quality restraunt in such a small town. I'm glad Casa Ramos is here in Mt Shasta.
Good Food--Reasonable Prices. We came here after hiking around Castle Lake. We had a nice quiet area in the bar. The server was prompt and took care of us. The food we had was the 2 for $20 and included an appetizer. We had the Flautas for the appetizer, I had the Arroz con Pollo which is a boneless breast of chicken sautéed in a rich orange tomato sauce with mushrooms and onions served over a bed of rice and melted Monterey Jack cheese. My husband had the Macho Burrito which is a super burrito! Flour tortilla filled with Mexican or white rice, refried or rancho beans and your choice of ground beef, chicken, pork, picadillo or chile Colorado. Smothered with burrito sauce and cheddar cheese garnished with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and cotija Mexican cheese. The food was filling and also had a couple of cocktails and my husband and a beer all for around $40.00 ...Not bad since we drank all that alcohol. I would recommend this place...good eats and good drinks and very filling!!
Had their Mahi Mahi tostada and loved it! Good food, adequate service, I would return if in the area.
