Civitas is a great little restaurant in English Village. They have Jazz on Wednesday nights and a great patio. Dinner is always wonderful. Plus, they have the best original cocktails in Birmingham. I highly recommend Civitas for brunch or dinner. View all feedback.
What Jessica Nail doesn't like about Civitas:
Great cocktails, not great entrees. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the chicken was cold. There was supposed to be a ?bacon jam? on top- it literally looked like cat food. I couldn?t eat the sandwich bc of it. The fries were super soggy. My friend got the Waygu burger, it was average at best. I?m not one to complain or send my food back so I just dealt with it.
