We entertained a friend from New York last night. She took a train from NY which dropped her off at 4:48 PM at The Station Restaurant where we met her. We were warmly welcomed in the restaurant and escorted to a table in the lovely high ceiling stone room. We quickly had our wine and were given time to peruse the menu to choose our meals. I was surprised to see how busy this restaurant was. The noise level was overwhelming and the overpriced food disappointingly ordinary. The service was brisk but more than adequate. This is not a restaurant to linger over a second cup of coffee though the best part of my dinner was a very good cappuccino! View all feedback.
