I've been eating at Big Billies for over 10 years when I take my kids skiing. And you know, I don't have very high expectations. There will be burgers and fries and chicken fingers. But last weekend, wow! Not only do they have the salad bar (which is really pretty extensive, and had a very nice woman conscientiously making my salad) but also sides of grilled tempeh!? What Andrew Reichel doesn't like about Big Billies:
They don't have anything good in there, go to gorranos or tracks or something. There's no reason to short-change yourself with a burned burger or a dry hot dog in telluride colorado. If you go in there, just get a hot chocolate or a gatorde and decide where you're gonna go to eat. The view from the mountain was breathtaking, but the grilled cheese was extremely tough, though the beer was delicious.
