I got the stuffed mushrooms and the roast beet schnitzel and both were super tasty. The next night I was having dinner with friends (who...are all meat eaters). We tried going to a couple of meat restaurants, but they were all full. I tentatively took them to Ronja (which we lucked out on because it was full and a table had only JUST emptied when we got there), but they all LOVED it. I think I've convinced them that veg food isn't THAT bad :P But seriously, such a delicious treat for the taste buds and I highly recommend it.
Very delicious and nice. Good atmosphere. Nice. Chill. Loved it. Beautiful restroom. Friendly staff.
Delicious! We came with a group of ab. people and everyone, mostly vegetarian/vegan and everyone has found something good for themselves. Personally, I am the biggest fan of the lentil soup. This was the most delicious lentil soup I have ever tasted (and I...know what I'm saying, since it is my favorite one). Plates of mixed vegetarian snacks allow you to try a bit of everything and it's a great option for two. But if you feel like eating one dish, there's also plenty to choose. The best restaurant in Mulheim!
We were a company of four trying to visit the Weinachtsmarket. Unfortunately, at a wrong time. Passing by Ronja, we were happy finding an open restaurant and walked in. Luckily, we got a table. We ordered four drinks, latte mac, hot choc, a wine and...a soda water. The waiteress was nice, but the service was questionable we waited, then we got the wine and the latte mac. Some time later we got the soda and the hot choc. We assume that it must be possible to get all drinks together. Nevertheless, the drinks were fine. We received a bread basket with a herbed bread that was realy superb! After that, we got our meals, first a piece of blueberry torte, Then we had to wait. Afterwards, we got stuffed mushrooms that were already drowned in a tomato sauce. By the way, the tomato sauce was the delicious part. Then we got a frikadel and a portion of satziki. As a result, the meals were not bad, but the vow was the herbed bread. The drink were ok. Sitting tgether, it would be nice to get drinks and meals for al at the table at the same time.
There aren't a huge amount of options in Mulheim so I was delighted to come across this little restaurant tucked away just away from the main town. The restaurant owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating, recognising we were English and showing us a printed menu...with English translation to help us. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone from pizza to pasta and middle eastern. We ordered the vegetarian platter, wedges, meatballs and a falafel wrap and each dish was fresh and delicious. As a meat eater you don't even notice the absence of meat. My absolute favourite part was the garlic bread, incredibly fresh and tasty. Nice atmosphere, reasonable prices, lovely fresh food and a friendly owner, you can't ask for more!
