"It's not like attending a restaurant: you are coming back to a friend even when you are there for the very first time: Alexander Ebert excels as the perfect host to a small place with a cozy, almost family-like atmosphere. Dinner is served in menu-format...only, with menus of courses to choose from, which actually doesn't prove to be an easy exercise to understand the logic behind. The accompanying wine selection is excellent. You'll get enough time to enjoy yourself. Service is very friendly, attentive and discreet like in your very own living-room. The only criticism, if anything, is that the starter (in my case a root beet caviar) did not quite match the quality of the courses to follow. Yet, the main dish, in my case milk calf, has more than compensated for the tiny little areas for improvement. Reservation is a must go for it."

"Im Lohhofer ist der Gast immer sehr gut aufgehoben. Der Service bleibt auch bei hoher Belastung nett und freundlich. Die bayrisch-internationale Küche bietet in einer, auf das richtige Maß belassener Speisekarte für jeden Geschmack etwas an. Alle von uns bisher genossenen Gerichte schmecken gut und sind ausreichend portioniert. Das Bier aus der hauseigenen Brauerei schmeckt sehr gut und auch die offenen Weine können sich sehen lassen.Die Inneneinrichtung und die Toiletten bieten schönen Lesestoff, wenn der Gast nichts anderes zu tun hat. Der Spruch des Hauses: Freibier gabs gestern! Wir kommen trotzdem wieder."
