If one manages to serve two main courses at a distance of 45 minutes, in which a dish was not served at all despite the demand and then requires a full payment, one simply does not understand the concept of the service. It's a shame, but it's inappropriate!
We had a party with people for the birthday of my husband. We rented the whole restaurant for us.. Everything was organized perfectly by the restaurant chef Daniele Adesso. The menue of courses was created by his father checf Geraldo. We had...first stuzzichini with the prosecco, Then a wonderful antipasti plate, with stuffed zucchini flowers, octopus salad, aspargi salad,San Daniele crudo cheese etc. Followed by homemade ravioli stuffed with Burratta and dried tomatoes, just perfect. Then homemade pasta with deer ragout turned in parrmegiano, it was too good. After that a choice of either Dorade on puree and asparagus or beef in redwine, either one could not have been any better. To top this heavenly menue, the chef Geraldo made his own Tiramisu alla orange, we never had a better desert. This father and son dreamteam had help from the best waiters of the world. Fabrio,Elena and Rosanna. The three did not let us wait one second, every wish was fulfilled immediately. The wine was excellent, white Avanzi Lugana and red Borgoscopeto Borgonero. It was the best party ever and all our guests where more than satisfied and happy with this wonderful romantic restaurant. I do not know a nicer place to go for either a romantic dinner, business lunch or a exclusiv party like ours. Geraldo and his son Daniele have the best italian resxtaurant, that I know. And we have many in Munich.
Again, another great meal ..... Service was spotty this time and needs improvement! Wrong order, needed to request Peppermill ....
We were fortunate staying about block away from this delicious morsel. While eating dinner, after being accomodated, we saw about people turned away as others had made reservations. The homemade soup was classic tomato, the salad was a simple cascade of different lettuces...with a delightful vinegrette. Bread was served with a delious tuna tar-tar- - perfection. When a friend ate and complimented the flavor (knowing they hated tar-tar), they were shocked. Of course it is good! The bar attendant was a charming fellow, knowing his trade very well The servers were delightful, understanidng the need to deliver and not interrupt conversation. A classic GOOD Italian restaurant, they do grand quite nicely and exlude pretense as an art. If you wish to go, grab the phone and make a reservation. The crowd is business and casual but all appreciate of the food, and the milieu. TWo people can go for around EURO, which is reasonable given the quality.
Just left IL Ristorante Isardoro Munich. The dinner was terrific from the staffs pacing of the food and wine recommendations to the Chefs preparation. They started with amuse bouchée of melon and dryer ham. We ordered minestrone soup it came out steaming with small cut...fresh vegetables. We then had pasta bolognese and pasta olio with garlic. Both came out steaming excellent. We were not rushed it was a wonderful evening and very reasonable.
