"The penny come quick could be a new pub with a young staff, but they would not suspect that. As soon as they open the door, she draws in the warm, inviting atmosphere. the decor is traditional, with a glowing fire, much old wood with a node to the sea, like harbour holes in doors, without being tweet. it has all ingredients of a great place for a cozy dinner for two or a congenial meeting with friends. and talking about eating, the menu selection and quality are excellent. they have skillfully kept the choices to a minimum to ensure that there are options for sweet, meat and fish at different price points. I had fish and chips broken, a favorite of me. it was cooked to perfection. but then I am a little biased – the cook is my son!"
