"So's Good Kitchen should be called So's GREAT kitchen. They serve the best Chinese cuisine in the area. They have great, fast and friendly service. The portion sizes are large enough to share. "We've been coming here regularly for the past 5 years since we moved to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains have never been disappointed with anything. The pizza's with their homemade dough, sauce, sausages are incredible. Then the specials throughout the year like during October when they serve German specialties like Schnitzel are over the top. Then to taste their up to 15 different selections of house made beers brings this to our #1 place to have dinner out!"

"I have a second home in the area and drove by several times thinking why are there cars at THIS place? . I took a chance and started going in early fall 2020 and make it a point to go there when I 'm in town. The staff couldn 't be nicer. In the pandemic era where restaurants do just the minimum or don 't serve at all randomly, everyone here works extra hard to make sure patrons have a cold drink and a hot meal if they like. That is a huge asset to have not just the owner doing this but everyone working there doing the same. For beer, they do carry several Hayesville Brewery beers (no longer affiliated with new 2020 ownership of the restaurant) and some other local options. They have lots of bottled canned options, too. Wine is standard black box, but that isn 't necessarily a bad thing. Try a Red Rooster Chelada if you want something different. Food changes with many staples making the menu board most weeks. I personally like the buffalo chicken sliders, the quesadillas, or the brunch board if sharing with someone else. All food is made to order and generally served with slaw or chips and a pickle. Don 't be afraid to ask if you want something they will accommodate if it is feasible to do so. I 've had extra éclairs from the brunch board added so 3 of us could share instead of 2. There hasn 't been anything I 've tried that I haven 't enjoyed. If the weather is nice, you can sit outside. Maybe a band will be playing if you 're lucky. If not, the regulars come in often along with a lot of visiting faces from the lake or beautiful scenery. Don 't let the shabby outside fool you this is a great place to have a drink, a meal or a visit with friends."
