"Went for lunch while visiting family in the area. Sister seemed a little disappointed as the quality of the food was not as good as it used to be. I enjoyed a sandwich and fries, but sandwich was a little lite on the meat part....Prices were average and as expected anywhere else. Portion size was average."

"My wife and I were out and about looking for a light lunch, and literally stopped here as we were had enough pub food over the past 2 days.This was certainly not pub food. Eating in a renovated church, complete with hardwood floors, wainscotting and wooden ceilings certainly took my 50 years back to my youth, trying to stay awake as the service was trying the opposite.That being said, the atmosphere was intimate, with comfortable chairs, a wonderful sitting area to wait should the tables all be full, and sufficient history, knick/knacks and paints to keep you entertained while you waited.and the food was worth the wait. My wife had the Asian Stir-fry with shrimp, and even through a number of wishes or wants, were requested all were met with a pleasant smile and a no-problem. She stated the meal was wonderful. I had a corn chowder and sandwich and again, the food was served at the proper temperature, with great flavour and in the proper portion size.We may have thought we were settling for the only other option, but we would go back in heartbeat, and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great experience."
