What User likes about Shawnee:
I can't say enough good about this place! It's by far the best greasy spoon I've ever had in a long time and one of the best! The cook has been working here since 1974. It just broke my head. He's also SUPER nice. I heard one of the waiters and waiters and said that she had been there for 17 years and that the owners were a big family to work. Says a lot in my book. What Janet Short doesn't like about Shawnee:
We really wanted to try this place. After reading reviews we felt we were prepared for a rundown older cafe but good food. The decrepit motel next door has been closed and condemned. Walking in, there was a thick fog of grease in the air. Made us cough and we left. I understand tightened belts but if you're going to stay open, need to spend some money on building and equipment (ventilation) maintenance. View all feedback.
