"We stayed here on our way to Cape Breton, this was a perfect place to stop and we easily could have stayed longer. The restaurant was fantastic, the complimentary breakfast was excellent. Beautiful location, great service, clean and very comfortable!"

"Ordered 2 everything bagels with herb and garlic cream cheese......ABSOULUTELY NOT IMPRESSED!!!! THE BAGELS WERE BURNT! AND DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH CREAM CHEESE TO COVER A QUARTER OF THEM!!! I live within 5 minutes of the porters lake location, have been there many times.....have never had such garbage served to me from there!!! YOU CAN BE 100% GUARENTEED THAT I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!! I would have taken the bagels back but I have just done a full 36 hrs with no sleep.....so that was not going to happen!!!!"

"Fast friendly service with great food. Nothing too fancy but one thing would make it better though. When dining in they should use real plates and cutlery instead of plastic.The fish was fresh with a nice light coating instead of the big thick gooey batter you see in so many places. The fries are no longer crinkle fries as posted by other reviews."
